Uniearth is built on nearly five decades of engineering legacy.
The journey began in 1977 with Mahavir Industrial in Kolkata, founded by H.P. Chharia, manufacturing conventional earthing materials and supplying to some of India’s largest infrastructure companies.
In 2005, the business evolved into advanced earthing and lightning protection, working closely with a leading French manufacturer and becoming one of the early adopters of ESE lightning protection systems in Asia, executing landmark projects like South City, Kolkata.
In 2014, Arihant Chharia, an Electrical & Electronics Engineer and IEEE-published researcher in lightning protection, redefined the vision and introduced UniEarth — transforming the company from a product supplier into a complete electrical protection solutions provider.
Since then, Uniearth has grown into a trusted name across infrastructure, power, defense, and industrial sectors, with projects across India and exports to 15+ countries.
